The Watcher's mask.

The reasons behind why I chose the costume for the watcher started with me looking at the stereotypical stalker/killers in films like scream, prom night & the strangers, Usually the colour of the clothing they wear is black and other dark colours. I thought as my main character is a young teenager and my film is meant to be realistic I thought it would be more appropriate to have my stalker to dress in a plain black hoodie with plain black trousers and shoes. I used a black balaclava with white patterning on it to hide the killers face also the watchers has the hood up over his head, this keeps up the sense of mystery and makes it hard for the audience to know who it is under the mask, I researched famous masked villains in horror movies like Jason that wears a ski mask scream with the long white face I used these as a basis for what I wanted to use to conceal my killers face.
